Hi, I'm Katie.
9 years ago, I was right where you are.
The night before our first wedding anniversary, I found out about my husband's secret porn use. I was numb and devastated and so scared about what it meant for our marriage, but I loved him. I didn't want to get divorced, and I had no idea what to do.
So I did what you're probably doing right now. I got him into therapy. I did a check-in with him every single day. I had all of his passwords and I monitored his devices. It was my full-time job. I never wanted to leave him home alone, because I thought if I was there, he wouldn't relapse. I felt more like an overseer than his wife.
I did that for two years, and I was miserable.
And then it finally hit me. The solution to my triggers, my insecurities, and my trust issues was never going to come from fixing my husband. It was going to come from healing myself.
So I decided I was going to get better, even if he didn't.
And that's exactly what I did.
Our marriage is better than it's ever been and I feel better about myself than I ever have, even though he still struggles.
I'm a Certified Somatic and Life Coach now, and I've spent the last 6 years helping women do the same thing.
I made this free class because nobody ever told me I could be okay even if I wasn't okay with my husband's porn use.
I spent two years trying to figure that out on my own, and I don't want you to do the same. If you're ready to feel better even if he isn't, you're in the right place.
